There are:

Eligibility:

Model must have a full head of freshly washed natural locs
Must use Loc & Twist Gel only
Accessories allowed: beads, pins, bands, wraps
No pre-parting, pre-twisting, or partial styling allowed
Models must meet eligibility requirements ignorer to serve as a model
Hair must be at least shoulder length
Hair must be clean, dry and product free
Must have a full head of natural locs

ROUND 1 — Retwist DISCIPLINE

30 Minutes (30 points)
Purpose: Honor the foundation of loc culture.

Challenge Focus:
Clean retwist execution
Clear, intentional parting
Scalp respect

No styling permitted
No covering errors

This round answers one question:
Clean precise execution of retwist
And did you finish the retwist

ROUND 2 — STYLE AUTHORITY

30 Minutes (30 point)

Purpose: Translate retwist into structured design.

Challenge Focus:
Logical loc styling. Give us your best Cleopatra! Let your imagination run wild.
Wearable, balanced execution
Intentional structure

ROUND 3 — THE DOMINION FINAL

30 Minutes (40 points)

Purpose: Establish authority.

Final challenge: start over.

Give us your masterpiece. What separates you and your team as the Dominion Champions. Extension is allowed and Enhancements is allowed. Get even more creative for this final round. Wow the crowd.

ROUND 1 — Retwist DISCIPLINE (30 points)

Clean : 5 points
Completion : 15 points
Proper retwist : 5 points
Symmetry: 5 points

ROUND 2 — STYLE AUTHORITY (30 point)

Complete style : 15 points
Creative: 10 points
Accessories: 5 points

ROUND 3 — THE DOMINION FINAL (40 points)

Creativity : 20 points
Completion in time frame : 10 points
Overall Presentation/ Delivery: 10 points

At any time, only ONE artist may work on the model.
