The NeatBraid Total Look competition is a full presentation category designed to showcase braiding artistry, styling creativity, and complete visual execution.
Competitors must create a polished braided look that includes a clear theme, finished styling, headpiece or ornamentation, and coordinated attire. This category is not only about braid technique. It is about the complete transformation from hair to final presentation.
This is a total look category, evaluated at championship level.
COMPETITION FORMAT
Duration: 90 Minutes
RULES & GUIDELINES
- The final look must include braided styling.
- Braids must be clean, controlled, and professionally finished.
- A visible theme or creative concept must be presented.
- Headpieces, ornaments, accessories, or decorative elements are required.
- Model attire must support the theme and overall presentation.
- Styling must be completed within the competition time.
- Judges will inspect all angles.
- To ensure fairness and integrity:

- Styling Product: PureO NeatBraid Gel provided
STRICTLY PROHIBITED
- No substitute braiding hair.
- No outside styling products.
- No product mixing.
- No pre-braiding, pre-parting, or pre-styling.
- No unfinished sections.
- No unsafe or unsecured headpieces.
- No offensive, inappropriate, or culturally disrespectful themes.
ELIGIBILITY
- Model must have natural hair.
- Hair must be clean, fully detangled, and product-free.
- No pre-parting, pre-braiding, or styling.
- Model comfort and safety are mandatory.
- Attire and accessories must allow the model to walk and present safely.

- Look must have a clear theme or creative direction.

HEADPIECE & ORNAMENTATION
- Headpiece, ornaments, jewels, beads, cuffs, wire, fabric, feathers, or decorative pieces may be used.
- Accessories must be securely placed.
- Ornamentation should enhance the braid design, not hide poor execution.
- Decorative elements must be balanced and visually clean.
