Fantasy Fusion Styling Runway Competition

The Fantasy Fusion Styling Challenge highlights the art of creating a complete themed look through hair, face makeup, attire, styling, and overall presentation. This category challenges a team of two artists, one makeup artist and one stylist, to work together to create a fully realized fantasy-inspired presentation. The final look should show creativity, structure, cohesion, and strong theme interpretation from head to toe. Fantasy Fusion Styling is not a haircutting competition. It is about vision, execution, teamwork, transformation, and presentation.

RULES & GUIDELINES
Each team must consist of one makeup artist and one stylist.
This competition is open to all hair types and textures.
The final look must include hair, face makeup, attire, and overall themed presentation.
Models will walk the runway for final judging.
All elements must be intentional, cohesive, and appropriate for public presentation.
Props are allowed but must be safe, manageable, and appropriate for the stage.
Final presentation must be clean, polished, and stage-ready within the allotted time.

ATTIRE RULES

Attire, nails, and body paint may be pre-done, if applicable.

Accessories, props, and costume elements are allowed.
Attire must support the theme and overall presentation.
All pieces must be secure, safe, and appropriate for stage presentation.

HAIR RULES
Hair may be prepped before the competition.
Hair prep is limited to clean, blow-dried hair and pre-curled hair, if applicable.
No pins, clips, ornaments, attachments, or styling pieces in the hair before the competition begins.
Hair pieces, ornaments, accessories, and attachments are allowed but must be applied during competition time.
Full wigs are not allowed.

MAKEUP RULES

The face may be prepped before the competition with cleansing and moisturizer only.
No foundation, concealer, contour, powder, brows, eyeshadow, eyeliner, lashes, lip color, face paint, prothetics, or decorative makeup
may be applied before the competition begins.
All face makeup must be completed on stage within the allotted time.
Body paint may be pre-done, if applicable.
Makeup must support the theme and overall look.
Prosthetics may be predone but applied only during competition.

STYLING EXECUTION – 25 POINTS
Clean technique and control
Strong shape, balance, and structure
Clean parting, placement, and section control
Smooth finishing with no unnecessary frizz, loose pieces, or weak areas
Proper integration of hair pieces, ornaments, accessories, or attachments
Finished style supports the overall theme

MAKEUP EXECUTION – 25 POINTS
Strong fantasy or character concept
Clean makeup application
Creative use of color, texture, and detail
Prosthetics are blended well, if used
Makeup supports the full look

TEAMWORK & TIME MANAGEMENT – 10 POINTS
Team works professionally and efficiently
Both artists contribute to the final look
Workstation remains clean and organized
Team completes the look within the allotted time
Professional conduct throughout the competition

THEME INTERPRETATION – 15 POINTS
Clear theme direction
Strong fantasy or concept interpretation
Creative choices feel intentional, not random
