Calling All Stylists and Barbers!
The Beat the Stage: Cut Party Battle is where talent meets creativity in a high-energy showdown. This is more than just a hair competition, it’s an electrifying celebration of skill, artistry, and passion for the craft. Elite stylists and barbers will face off in front of a live audience at the Hair Education Beauty Summit (HEBS) to showcase their cutting-edge techniques and battle for the crown.
Competition Details:
- 1st Place: $7,000 cash + trophy
- 2nd Place: $3,000 cash + trophy
- 3rd Place: $1,500 in prizes
Entry Fees:
- $50 initial entry fee and submission of a 1-2 minute video showcasing your work to [email protected] by March 17th, 2025
- $350 upon selection as a finalist
- Finalists will be announced April 14th, 2025.
- Finalist competition fee will be due April 19th, 2025.
Finalist Format:
- Top 20 finalists will compete in multiple cutting challenges, judged live at HEBS.
- Participants may use up to 3 models on stage. Models must be at least 18 years old and sign a model release form.
Rules and Regulations:
- Props are not permitted, but themed costumes and accessories are allowed.
- Models must arrive pre-prepped (makeup and wardrobe complete). Only haircuts can be performed on stage.
- Only cordless clippers, shears, razors, or unique cutting instruments are permitted.
- No hot tools, corded equipment, open flames, or confetti are allowed on stage.
- Models and participants must arrive 2 hours before the event starts (exact time TBD). Late arrivals may result in disqualification.
- Originality/Theme (25 points): Makeup, wardrobe, and artistic expression.
- Creativity (25 points): Cutting techniques, tools, and showmanship.
- Hair Transformation (30 points): Changes in shape, length, and texture.
- Crowd Participation (20 points, +5 bonus): Applause and standing ovations.
- No interference with other participants or their models.
- Nudity or wardrobe malfunctions exposing private areas will result in automatic disqualification.

What does the competitions fees covers?
The entry fee includes all-day access for the competitor and one model to the Hair Education Beauty Summit on the day of the competition. Each entry fee covers one model.
Can I compete in multiple competitions?
Absolutely! Competitors may compete in multiple competitions.
Please note all models need to sign a model release form, which can be filled out at the event.
Is my purchase refundable?
We have a strict no-refund policy, without exception. If you are unable to attend the event, you may take responsibility for selling your registration to another person.
